I introduced myself to the game of golf at the age of 12 after finding a bag of old clubs in my neighbour’s garbage pile. I would spend hours hitting 6 irons from one end of a soccer field to the other and was immediately hooked by the complexity of the game. I played in one Golf Quebec junior event as a teenager and finished tied for fifth. I took a nine-year break from the game after high school to concentrate on completing my education in film and television production and starting my career. After working in broadcast television for several years, I returned to golf as I realized it was my true passion. In 2016, competing in my first amateur event since I started playing again, I shot 67 in a Golf Quebec Spring Open qualifier and finished low medalist for the day. I then went on to shoot 67 at the Spring Open at Beaconsfield Golf Club and held the clubhouse lead for several hours before some adverse weather rolled in and the organizing committee was forced to call the event a 9 hole tournament, leaving me tied for 2nd place as I had performed better on the back 9. I turned professional at the age of 30. My greatest professional achievement so far was winning the ECPT Sept-Iles ITUM Invitational alongside Vaita Guillaume in 2020. I will be competing for status on the Mackenzie Tour – PGA Tour Canada at the end of April in Courtenay, British Columbia. I am hopeful that the experience I have gained over the past three seasons on the ECPT will help propel my career to the next level in professional golf.

J’ai été initié au golf à l’âge de 12 ans après avoir trouvé un sac de vieux clubs dans le tas d’ordures de mon voisin. Je passais des heures à frapper des fers 6 d’un bout à l’autre d’un terrain de soccer et j’ai été immédiatement accroché par la complexité du jeu. À l’adolescence, j’ai participé à un tournoi junior de Golf Québec et j’ai terminé à égalité en cinquième position. J’ai pris une pause de neuf ans après l’école secondaire pour me concentrer sur terminer mes études en production cinématographique et télévisuelle et le début de ma carrière. Après avoir travaillé dans le domaine de la télédiffusion pendant plusieurs années, je suis revenu au golf car j’ai réalisé que c’était ma véritable passion. En 2016, participant à mon premier événement amateur depuis que j’ai recommencé à jouer, j’ai joué 67 lors d’une qualification de l’Omnium Printanier de Golf Québec et j’ai terminé meilleur amateur de la journée. J’ai ensuite joué 67 à l’Omnium Printanier au Club de golf Beaconsfield et j’ai tenu la tête du tournoi pendant plusieurs heures avant que les conditions météorologiques défavorables ne surviennent et que le comité organisateur ne soit obligé d’arrêter le tournoi après 9 trous, ce qui m’a laissé à égalité pour la 2e place. Je suis devenu professionnel à l’âge de 30 ans. Ma plus grande réussite professionnelle jusqu’à présent a été de remporter ll’Invitation ITUM de Sept-Iles aux côtés de Vaita Guillaume en 2020. Je vais essayer d’obtenir un statut sur le Mackenzie Tour – PGA Tour Canada à la fin du mois d’avril à Courtenay, en Colombie-Britannique. J’espère que l’expérience que j’ai acquise au cours des trois dernières saisons sur le ECPT contribuera à propulser ma carrière au prochain niveau du golf professionnel.
