Qui aurait pu prédire qu’un jeune athlète de Chibougamau dans le Nord-du-Québec, un endroit où il est possible de pratiquer son sport seulement 4 mois par année, se taillerait une place dans le monde du golf professionnel. Pendant plusieurs années, mes parents ont administré le club de golf de la ville. J’ai passé la majorité de mon temps libre sur ce terrain à développer mes habiletés. Mes premiers élans à 3 ans, mon premier tournoi régional à 7 ans, j’avais déjà beaucoup d’ambitions. J’ai également eu la chance de compter sur des grands-parents en or qui m’ont voyagé de Chibougamau aux quatre coins du Québec durant toute ma carrière junior fin de semaine après fin de semaine. Ce qui m’a sans aucun doute permis de réaliser des performances clés et d’amener mon golf à un niveau supérieur.

– 1er au Classement amateur du Québec en 2016
À la fin de l’été 2016, j’ai changé mon statut amateur pour celui de professionnel. Trois ans plus tard, en 2019, je remportais le PGA Championship du Canada qui fût la victoire la plus importante de ma carrière. Mon nom est désormais gravé avec ceux de plusieurs légendes entre autres : Arnold Palmer. De plus, en 2020, mon nom se retrouvait au sommet du Classement de la PGA du Canada. En date d’aujourd’hui, je suis professionnel au Club de golf Royal Québec et de gros évènements sont au calendrier pour la saison 2022.

Who could have predicted that a young athlete from Chibougamau in Northern Quebec, a place where it is possible to practice his sport only 4 months a year, would make it in the professional golf world. For many years, my parents managed the town’s golf club. I spent most of my free time on that course developing my skills. My first swing at 3 years old, my first regional tournament at 7 years old, I already had many ambitions. I was also lucky enough to have golden grandparents who traveled from Chibougamau to the four corners of Quebec throughout my junior career week after week. This undoubtedly allowed me to achieve key performances and take my golf to the next level.

– 1st in the Quebec Amateur Ranking in 2016
At the end of the summer of 2016, I changed my amateur status to professional. Three years later, in 2019, I won the PGA Championship of Canada which was the most important victory of my career. My name is now engraved with those of many legends such as Arnold Palmer. In addition, in 2020, my name was at the top of the PGA of Canada rankings. As of today, I am a professional at the Royal Quebec Golf Club and big events are on the calendar for the 2022 season.
