CELONE, TY22

Celone’s passion for the game began at the young age of 4. His father, Brent, has been his coach and mentor throughout his competitive journey. Celone had a very successful Junior golf career, as he represented Team Ontario for two years, Team Canada for the International Junior Challenge, and won the Mizuno National Stroke Play Championship at the age of 16. In recent years, Celone has been playing Division 1 golf for Eastern Michigan University. His career highlights to date are as follows:

– 41 out of 108 rounds at par or better

– 3 top 5 and 8 top 10 finishes

– 1995-886 win/loss record

– Team wins include the 2019 MAC Championship, 2019 EKU Intercollegiate, and the 2022 MAC Match Play

Moreover, Celone Is on pace for the second-lowest career scoring average in school history at 73.33, 0.03 behind the record belonging to Graham Hill.

During his last semester of Division 1 golf for EMU, Celone is looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead and hopes he and his team can perform the best of their abilities. Additionally, he is extremely excited to begin his professional career on the ECPT and is looking forward to taking his game to the next level.

La passion de Celone pour le jeu a commencé à l’âge de 4 ans. Son père, Brent, a été son entraîneur et son mentor tout au long de son parcours de compétition. Celone a eu une carrière de golf junior très réussie, puisqu’il a représenté l’équipe de l’Ontario pendant deux ans, l’équipe du Canada pour l’International Junior Challenge, et a remporté le Mizuno National Stroke Play Championship à l’âge de 16 ans. Ces dernières années, Celone a joué au golf en Division 1 pour l’Eastern Michigan University. Les faits saillants de sa carrière à ce jour sont les suivants

– 41 des 108 parcours à par ou mieux
– 3 top 5 et 8 top 10
– Record de victoires et de défaites en 1995-886
– Les victoires d’équipe comprennent le Championnat MAC 2019, l’EKU Intercollegiate 2019 et le MAC Match Play 2022.

De plus, Celone est sur le point d’obtenir la deuxième plus faible moyenne de pointage de l’histoire de l’école, soit 73,33, à 0,03 du record de Graham Hill.

Pendant son dernier semestre de golf en Division 1 pour l’UEM, Celone est impatient de relever les défis qui l’attendent et espère que lui et son équipe pourront donner le meilleur d’eux-mêmes. De plus, il est extrêmement enthousiaste à l’idée de commencer sa carrière professionnelle sur l’ECPT et a hâte de faire passer son jeu au niveau supérieur.
