I started golf around 7 or 8 when my dad would take my brother and I over to the local starter course a few blocks away from my house: The Landings Golf Course and Teaching Centre. Eventually, through the welcoming atmosphere, the club provided it allowed me to become more competitive as a junior, playing in tournaments all over North America and enjoying every second of it. Eventually, after having outgrown the Landings, I joined Cataraqui and had myself a very solid summer as a junior, highlighted by both a bronze medal at the high school provincial championship and the low round of the year for junior golfers at Cataraqui.
After struggling through a lot of injuries I’ve come to appreciate the grind and the process of getting better each day, and am thankful for everyone who has helped me get to where I am so far and continues to help me get to where I can go.

J’ai commencé à jouer au golf vers 7 ou 8 ans, lorsque mon père nous emmenait, mon frère et moi, sur le parcours de départ local, situé à quelques rues de chez moi : The Landings Golf Course and Teaching Centre. Grâce à l’atmosphère accueillante du club, j’ai pu devenir plus compétitif en tant que junior, participant à des tournois dans toute l’Amérique du Nord et appréciant chaque seconde. Finalement, après avoir dépassé les limites du Landings, j’ai rejoint le Cataraqui et j’ai passé un été très solide en tant que junior, marqué par une médaille de bronze au championnat provincial des lycées et par la meilleure ronde de l’année pour les golfeurs juniors au Cataraqui. Après avoir lutté contre de nombreuses blessures, j’en suis venu à apprécier le travail et le processus d’amélioration quotidienne, et je suis reconnaissant envers tous ceux qui m’ont aidé à me rendre là où je suis et qui continuent à m’aider à me rendre là où je peux aller.
