Je m’appelle Martin Lachance, j’ai 48 ans et je suis golfeur professionnel. Durant la saison estivale, je représente le club de golf Royal Québec lors de mes tournois professionnels.
C’est depuis cinq ans seulement que je me consacre de plus en plus sur ma «game» de golf. J’ai commencé sérieusement la compétition durant l’été 2020 comme amateur. C’est à l’automne 2020 que je suis devenu professionnel à l’âge de 46 ans.
J’ai décidé de relever le défi de participer professionnellement à des compétitions de golf sur plusieurs circuits : PGA du Québec, PGA du Canada, East Coast Pro Tour ainsi que sur le Mackenzie Tour. Lors de ma première année professionnelle, à l’Ordre de mérite du East Coast Pro Tour, j’ai terminé en 50e position sur 276 participants et 35e sur 278 participants l’année suivante, un bon de 15 positions.
Mon rêve est de jouer sur le circuit sénior européen LEGENDS TOUR lors de la saison 2025. Pour y arriver, je suis à la recherche de commanditaires ou de partenaires qui seraient prêts à m’aider financièrement à réaliser mon objectif ultime. Je dois consacrer beaucoup de temps à me perfectionner avec mon entraîneur tout au long de l’année. À la fin du mois de juin 2023, je travaillerai à temps sur mon entraînement de golf afin de réaliser mon rêve.

My name is Martin Lachance, I am 48 years old and I am a professional golfer. During the summer season, I represent the Royal Quebec Golf Club during my professional tournaments.
It is only since five years that I dedicate myself more and more to my golf game. I started competing seriously in the summer of 2020 as an amateur. I became a professional in the fall of 2020 at the age of 46.
I decided to take on the challenge of competing professionally on several golf circuits: PGA of Quebec, PGA of Canada, East Coast Pro Tour and the Mackenzie Tour. In my first year as a professional on the East Coast Pro Tour Order of Merit, I finished 50th out of 276 participants and 35th out of 278 participants the following year, a good 15 positions.
My dream is to play on the European Senior LEGENDS TOUR in the 2025 season. To achieve this, I am looking for sponsors or partners who would be willing to help me financially to reach my ultimate goal. I need to spend a lot of time with my coach throughout the year to perfect my skills. By the end of June 2023, I will be working on my golf training in time to achieve my dream.
